Always interested in audio, Kyle decided to pursue a career in production shortly after the recording of Hot Rod Mackenzie's first album, "For Reasons Unknown."
He interned with Michael Osborn at Rubber Room Studios for a short stint and then attended The Recording Workshop of Ohio in the fall of 1996, studying recording engineering and music production.
After returning from school Kyle and Mike founded Aslyum Productions, an Indy based recording studio that also focused on live sound reinforcement. He then landed a position at Rehearsal Studio Productions Inc. working under long time audio engineer George Strakis and became a stage crewmember at Verizon Wireless Music Center.
As a freelance engineer, Kyle has worked with and traveled extensively with clients such as The Salvador Santana Band, Whitney Houston, Earth Wind and Fire, TOOL, The Killers, Anyone (Roadrunner Records), Healing Sixes "featuring Jason Bonham", Birdmen Of Alcatraz, Walt Disney Entertainment, John Mellencamp, Eighth Day Sound, MICROSOFT, ESPN and ABC.
